Curated exposure to private blue chips

About the Fund

The MeTTa-Equiam Private Tech 30 Fund targets a carefully selected portfolio of the world’s 30 leading pre-IPO technology companies. These businesses have proven their ability to manage costs effectively, sustain strong growth, and solidify dominance within their verticals, even during periods of market volatility where many venture-backed firms faltered.

Backed by Tier 1 venture capital investors, these companies are well-positioned as the next generation of IPO leaders, yet they continue to face liquidity demands from employees and early investors. The Fund leverages these opportunities to provide investors with access to high-quality, late-stage growth companies at disciplined entry pricing.

Why invest

Later-Stage Focus
  • Targets the 100 largest privately held, venture-backed companies in the U.S.
  • Later-stage VC companies fail 40% less and exit 50% faster than earlier-stage peers
Tier 1 Venture Capital Participation
  • Every target company must have financing from at least one Tier 1 VC in its latest round.
  • This backing correlates strongly with successful exits and attractive returns on a five-year forward basis.
Disciplined Entry & Strong Liquidity Path
  • Only companies with 21%+ IRR potential and a clear liquidity path in 12–36 months are considered.
  • Rigorous underwriting eliminates unattractive opportunities, focusing only on those with the highest return potential.

Investment policy

Each company considered for the Fund portfolio must first demonstrate the necessary size and quality attributes. From there, the Fund applies a rigorous due diligence process that evaluates financial performance, market positioning, addressable market dynamics, customer and employee satisfaction, and management strength, among other factors. Only businesses that meet these standards are included, with investment decisions guided by a firm go/no-go entry price threshold.
