Celebrating 10 years of pioneering opportunities

Ten years ago, two visionary entrepreneurs came together with a shared belief: that opportunity, when seized with courage and conviction, can transform not only the investment landscape, but broader economic ecosystems.

“While no journey exists without its obstacles, it’s wonderful to reflect on the paths we’ve paved. Thank you for being part of our journey. We will continue as we began – with courage, passion, tenacity and an absolute commitment to creating products that not only enhance return on capital, but equally enhance the world around us.”

History & track record

We began this journey with Section 12J, and today, have expanded into various alternative asset investments.

In 2014, we launched the first Section 12J fund in South Africa. What started
as a brave venture became the fastest-growing alternative asset class in the country. We proudly carry the flag as the pioneers of Section 12J.

In 2023, we were at it again, pioneering the next tax-deductible asset class with the launch of the first Section 12B fund in South Africa – Twelve B Green Energy Fund.

We are pioneering these asset classes through our own promoted funds and turnkey administration of third-party funds.

By applying the knowledge and experience we’ve gained over the years, we have innovated a number of industry firsts and are one of the largest administrators of small-cap funds in South Africa, with R3.6 billion in assets under administration.

The pioneering spirit of our team has manifested in a series of industry firsts

Scroll through our 10 year history

For entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs

As pioneers in alternative assets, it’s our job to not only be on the pulse of investment opportunities, but to be at the forefront of new opportunities.

INVEST IN YOUR PEOPLE, THEY ARE EVERYTHING

Diversified skill sets and experience, and a creative financial approach, we are both ideas people and executors.

And no matter what we undertake, no-one will ever say we don’t give it our all.

“We were the catalysts and made Section 12J happen in South Africa, and we acknowledge our responsibility to those who have invested in Section 12J and we will stay the journey with them. The assets and their money will be prudently and properly managed and reported on.”
