Jesmane Boggenpoel, Managing Partner, AIH Capital
Jesmane has many years’ experience in investments, private equity, and as an entrepreneur. She has served on several boards including Land Bank, Senwes, Cell C, and Sybrin, and is currently on the boards of EOH, Murray & Roberts, and Spur.
Jesmane was former Head of Business Engagement Africa, WEF in Switzerland. Jesmane is also a founding board member and shareholder of a women’s investment company, African Women Chartered Accountants Investment Holdings.
She is a member of the digital economy working group of BRICs (South African chapter) and a judge and speaker for the BMF Innovation and Invention programme. Author of a book on identity, race, diversity and inclusion My Blood Divides and Unites. She is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University, USA.
Avi Gordon, Fund Manager & Director, Sunstone Capital Limited
Avi has significant commercial experience across an array of industries including his role as the Fund Manager of Decentral Energy Limited, a solar fund specializing in PV to the commercial industrial sectors with clients such as Spear REIT, OPH, IHS and many others. With a blend of Corporate Finance and Private Equity experience, he has a deep passion for creative and meaningful transactional work.
Mark van Wyk, Managing Partner, Infra Impact Investment Managers
Mark is a Managing Director and has been a member of the Infra Impact Investment team since the firm’s inception. Mark is a captain of industry in the institutional impact and infrastructure investment space. Mark was previously founder and Head of Mergence unlisted investments business. He has more than 20 years of experience in capital and investment markets. Mark is a sought-after speaker, commentator and a guest lecturer at the UCT Graduate School of Business. He serves on the ASISA Responsible and Infrastructure Committees and has won numerous ABSIP awards for this role as a leader in Alternative Asset Management.
